Patricia, known to her friends as”Pat”, passed away at home on May 24, 2019 from lung cancer complications at the age of 85 years. She passed “peacefully” without pain, and with her family in attendance.
Pat was a “True California Girl” born at Queen of Angels Hospital, Los Angeles on June 28, 1933 and except for a few years “out of State on her husband’s work assignments”; she spent most of her years in the San Gabriel Valley in Glendora, Arcadia and eventually San Dimas. She loved the San Gabriel Mountains and said “as long as she could see the mountains she always knew where she was and where North was”.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Jim, three (3)sons and wives Jim & Ingrid, Joe &Ilsa, Jeff & Carrie, daughter Mary & her daughter Jaime, sister Lauretta & brother Ron, seven (7) grandchildren, three (3) great-grandchildren and (2-1/2) two & one half great-great grandchildren. She will be forever remembered and loved by her nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
Pat was a trained and accomplished artist and oil painter and her family have beautiful gifted examples of her talent.
A short “Celebration of Pat’s Life” will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at Oakdale Memorial Park- “Memorial Chapel"
