Pedro Oscar Valencia

Pedro was born to Serafin Valencia and Emilia Escobar in 1955 in San Salvador, El Salvador. He married Marta in 1977 and together they had 2 children: Rita Celeste and Julie Emily. Aside from being a proud father, he was a genuinely kind, loving and respected Grampy to Evan and Mia.

Beside the love Pedro had for family and friends, he carried a lifelong passion for futbol. In his youth, Pedro was a part of many soccer leagues where he played his heart out. Most recently, he was an avid spectator and fan. You could not miss his social media posts each time his favorite team, Real Madrid, won. He fulfilled his lifelong dream of watching them in Spain in 2017. Pedro's cheerful demeanor, jokes and bright smile will be missed greatly.

A visitation for Pedro will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Oakdale Mortuary, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740. Following the visitation will be a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Oakdale Memorial Park, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740.
