Master Gwon was a teacher and mentor to me from the age of 15 into my 20s. His life lessons, martial arts,  and otherwise, had a great influence on me (and I know many others as well).

I feel blessed to haves been his student, and friends with him and his special family. I carried his training into a long law enforcement career. The training I received served me well for many years until my retirement. 

I am sorry that we lost touch and I only now learned of his passing. My much belated condolances to his family and the thousands of students and friends that he touched during his time here on earth.

I was reminiscing with family about Master Gwon's dojang and what his training meant to me. I decided to look him up and am broken hearted he soared to Heavan so long ago. His wife was so sweet and I will miss him but have carried his training and life lessons forever. RIP

Pu Gill Gwan, was my first karate instructor in Ellisville Mo. when I was a young teenager. His strict discipline and skills were such that  they carried through with me my whole life. His skills of Martial Arts were truly amazing I can remember his feats as if I were there today. A True Loss

To the gown family.... Your loss is my loss master pu gill showed me so much how to be a good martial artist as well as a man.... I'm sorry for the loss and I pray master pu gill rests in peace.
