Rafael Rodriguez

Rafael was born in Mexico City on October 3rd, 1946. While in his youth he migrated to the United States, where he would make California his new home. In his new found home he would meet the love of his life Brenda. With her they had four children, three boys (Octavio, Ralph, and Servando) and one girl (Clara). Rafael was a family man and having that title comes with the responsibility of taking care and supporting your family. He understood that, so he was always hard at work. Longer hours, extra shifts, it didn't matter to him. He did what he needed to do in order to provide for his family.

Aside from fatherhood and work, Rafael was also a man of leisure, who had many outlets he was passionate about. The predominant ones being sports, music, food, and television. He always made time to fit those in his daily life. Fortunately, he was able to retire in 2011 after working for the Coca-Cola Company for thirty years. So his time to do what he enjoyed only grew more.

Rafael left behind three surviving children Ralph, Clara, and Servando; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Rafael was preceded in death by his wife Brenda and his eldest son Octavio.

A visitation for Rafael will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Oakdale Mortuary & Memorial Park, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, California 91740. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 29, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, California 91740. A burial to follow will occur.
