Mi Papá una persona memorable, noble, sencilla y a la vez maravillosa, cuya partida ha dejado un gran dolor y vacío en nuestra familia y los que lo trataron. Mi Papá no tenía riquezas, pero nunca nos faltó techo, comida y ropa. Tampoco nunca nos faltó su amor y su mejor enseñanza que fueron los valores de la vida. Nunca olvidaré el momento en que me dijeron que tu corazón ya no latía. Nunca podré olvidar la peor experiencia del dolor de tu partida. Pero tampoco olvidaré la mejor experiencia  de haberte tenido en mi vida. No olvidaré ni esa gran paciencia y esa sonrisa. Nunca nos gritó, ni uso malas palabras ni golpes, su dicho era “hablando se entiende la gente".  Puede seguir todo el día con buenas anécdotas pero hoy solo me queda el consuelo al saber que ahora está junto al creador. 
Para mi familia Lucas 1:37 “Porque para Dios, nada es imposible”, Si nosotros como familia ponemos nuestra fe en Dios, vamos a superar cualquier cosa.


Mi papá y yo (Norma) un hombre guapo,  fuerte y con una sonrisa captivadora! Se decía que tenía parecido a Pedro Infante (actor y cantante).

When I think about Abue I can remember him sitting on his chair to eat. He liked to sit on the couch and watch  soccer.  He use to like to share with everyone. I’m going to miss seeing Abue.

I believe that our parents give us life, but our grandparents give us a sense of who we are and where we came from. My grandfather was more than just a hard working man, but a family man who loved all of us more than life itself. His smile was made of sunshine, and it brightened up a little extra when he would tell me the same story about the goat jumping off from the back of the truck, even after he told it to me a million times already. Although we all were unaware that God was calling him home on January 9th, 2021 he knew we loved him dearly and in death we will do the same. I know a thousand words won’t bring you back because I have tried, and neither will a thousand years because I have cried. Death is the last chapter in time, but the first chapter in eternity. May abue, as us grandchildren knew him, Rest In Peace and power, and become one of God’s greatest angels. I love you forever, mi abue loco. Best friends for life ❤️

It is difficult to find the point of life.  So to find i, just be you.  Abue had something no other grandpa in the world has, patience.  That was his point in life. What our mission in life is now, is to let him be happy.   We all want him back, but would he want to come back?  We now have to be strong not selfish. 
 Grandpa thank you for taking us and picking us up from school every day.  I love you. 

Grandpa. Just grandpa. I didn’t know a lot about him growing up.  I did know he loved his children and grandchildren so much. He tried to talk to me and I tried to talk to him, but we couldn’t understand each other’s language.   But we both understood that we loved each other.  Grandpa, I will forever love you.  You are in my heart.

Here I am. Playing with my Ninja Turtles on my dads belly. I don’t think he cared to be honest. 

Dad enjoyed celebrating  his birthday at home and he loved having his 6 grandchildren there to celebrate with him. 

For those of you who didn’t know my dad, let me describe him to you in just one word; patient.  He was the most patient person I have ever met.  Maybe because he was my father, I saw that in everything he did.  My dad repaired cars after collisions.  I observed over many years the time and patience he took with every car.  First, fix the dent,  sand it down, and then put a new beautiful coat of paint.  Maybe he saw life that way; fix the problem, make sure everything and everyone was fine, and finally make you feel as if everything was back to normal.  He was patient with four daughters and one son, when he showed all of us to drive, when he would sit in traffic and take me to Northridge, and when he read his long thick books.  He did love to read, and in one of those books he found my unique name. My dad taught me the importance of being on time, even being there extra early though sometimes it meant that we needed patience to wait for our turn.  He never complained when all the grandchildren would make a ruckus around him.  He would say, “Let them be, the house sounds joyful with all this noise.”  He never complained about going to work, and never complained that he might have been in pain, not even after quintuple bypass surgery. I will ask myself now, “Would my dad complain about this?”  I am heartbroken to have lost my dad, but I know I need patience to one day see him again.

Thank you for raising a beautiful and delightful granddaughter, I am very grateful for everything you have done in her life. You will be greatly missed and may your soul ready in peace.

Descanse en Paz. Dios lo tenga en su santa gloria. Siempre lo voy recordaré. Hasta siempre y gracias por ser un buen abuelo.
