Ricardo Vallejo

April 19, 1987 – January 27, 2026

Ricky was a devoted son, a proud and loving father, a cherished brother, and a loyal friend who won the hearts of everyone around him. As a father, his greatest joy was spending time with his children. He looked forward to every opportunity to be by their side — even volunteering at their school just to share a few extra moments with them.

A true jack of all trades, Ricky could do just about anything he put his mind to, but his true passion was barbering. Behind the chair, he did more than cut hair — he built confidence, friendships, and lasting connections within his community.

Outside of his craft, Ricky was a true foodie who loved family BBQs and gathering around good food and laughter. He was always excited for the next big boxing match and any reason to bring loved ones together.

Even during his courageous battle with leukemia, Ricky never lost his sense of humor. Through pain and hardship, he continued to make those around him laugh, showing incredible strength, resilience, and love until the very end.

His presence lit up every room, and his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.

Ricky fue un hijo devoto, un padre orgulloso y amoroso, un hermano muy querido y un amigo que conquistó los corazones de todos a su alrededor. Como padre, su mayor alegría era pasar tiempo con sus hijos. Esperaba con ansias cualquier oportunidad para estar junto a ellos, incluso ofreciéndose como voluntario en la escuela para compartir unos momentos extra.

Era un verdadero todoterreno, capaz de hacer de todo, pero su verdadera pasión era ser barbero. Detrás de la silla, hacía mucho más que cortar cabello: construía confianza, amistades y conexiones duraderas en su comunidad.

Fuera de su oficio, Ricky era un verdadero amante de la buena comida. Amaba las parrilladas en familia y siempre estaba emocionado por la próxima pelea de boxeo, cualquier excusa para reunir a los seres queridos.

Incluso durante su valiente batalla contra la leucemia, Ricky nunca perdió su sentido del humor. A pesar del dolor, siempre encontraba la manera de hacernos reír, mostrando una fortaleza, resiliencia y amor increíbles hasta el final.

Su presencia iluminaba cada lugar, y su espíritu vivirá por siempre en los corazones de su familia, amigos y todos quienes tuvieron la suerte de conocerlo.
