I am so sad, and very surprised, to hear of Richard's passing. He was not just an employee of Covina-Valley Unified School District, but a worker for the Lord. He shared his love for Jesus almost every time I saw him and had a chance to interact with him. I also had the privilege of having his lovely daughter, Breanna, in my class. 

My deepest condolences go out to the family. May Richard be in Heaven laughing and praising our Lord, Jesus Christ. I am sure God welcomed him as a faithful servant.

It was an Honor to know Richard. He's was a great part of the San Gabriel Valley Young Marines. He so loved working and helping with our Yound Marines.it was so much fun having him with us on camp outs, Hikes and events. He helped and was a big part of of the unit. I loved hanging out with him up at Camp Bandido, Camp Morning Star. Overnite hikes and many events.
He helped so many kids build there confidence and do things they never thought they could do. I have so many memories and stories. He will be missed.
It was my Honor to have had a friend like Richard. A great man and wonderful Combat Medic. Loved our Army -Navy games.
Save a place for me brother. See ya when I see ya.
