I have known Richard a very long time. He gave me my first record which was jail house rock. His quote was as long as the music is playing everything will be all right. His memory will live on in our music.

My Uncle Richard, the memories I have are many. Since I can remember my uncle Richard was always the uncle we were wowed with whenever he came around to visit. I remember when I was a kid and he worked for a dealership and he always showed up with a band new expensive car dressed so sharp. When he would come over he would talk about all his doowop music or the artists he met and He would talk for hours about Elvis and his music, until one day he started impersonating him and he was involved in shows and having his costumes made like Elvis....he was so excited and proud, just as we were. My uncle Richard always had our attention with his amazing stories. He will always be remembered...ALWAYS...LOVE PINKY YOUR NIECE

Richard was an amazing person who loved people and most of all loved God as he received Jesus Christ in his heart and repented of his sins before he went home to be in the presence of our precious Lord. Richard was hungry for the Lord during his last year on our planet as we faithfully studied the Bible every Friday with few exceptions. Richard was very hungry to learn about God’s will as revealed in Scripture. I cannot wait to see Richard once again in Heaven. He was my best friend.

I met Richard 7 years ago when my husband and I moved to Azusa after getting married
Richard welcomed us with open arms AND literally became a staple at our house. He helped us out so much and made us feel like family. I'll never forget the time he scared the bejeezus out of me by playing practical Halloween pranks on me. We shared so many memories and seeing him all around the neighborhood. There were many a times I'd come home from work and find him doing something in our yard. Richard lived an amazing life and inspired so many with his stubbornness and love of life. We miss you Richard. May you rest in peace.

So very sorry on the loss of Richard. I will remember Richard as being very talkative, and loved his doowop. He loved talking about music. Last time I saw him, he came with my Uncle Nile and Uncle Lupe to visit my mom Esther Cardona. She was at a rehab place. He is upstairs talking about music. Rest In Peace Richard💐
