Bob was a great friend and workmate. When I first met him at Miller, his attention to detail and willingness to help left a great impression on me, and as others will attest he made the job easier. His inner strength and courage he displayed in fighting the battle he fought is an example for all. Sally and I extend our deepest condolences to Sue, Kevin and Michelle and we will continue to pray for you as you go through this difficult time.

Bob Mounts had a keen mind and extraordinary attention to detail. He could break down the most complex of problems and illustrate it on a flip chart using that precise, somewhat backward slanted writing - all capital letters. However, his greatest gift was the kindness he showed to others. He was always soon to ask how me and my children were doing, and he listened with sincerity. He spoke often of his lovely wife and his wonderful children.  Words cannot express the loss that all of us feel upon Bob's passing, but up in heaven, they must be saying, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord" (Matthew 25:21).

It was great working with you Bob. You were always patient, calm, and collected.  May our Lord grant your soul eternal rest.  My prayers are with Sue, Kevin, Michelle and the rest of the family. God Bless, Gloria B

Bob was a joy to work with but also a great person to talk to about issues outside of work.  He gave me a ton of advice that I will carry with me always.  My deepest condolences to Sue and the Mounts family.

Bob, you are one of the greatest people I had the pleasure of working with, and by far one of the best supervisors.  Thank you for taking a chance on me, for your mentoring, advice, for pushing me to the limits, and showing me that setting high goals is truly the way to push yourself. It is so nice to read the wonderful and touching comments about Bob and I share the feelings that others have expressed so eloquently here. Most of my involvement with Bob was work related, so let me speak of that.

He was an absolute pillar of strength when it came to the job. He would not compromise his principles, would never walk away from a problem. He got the tough assignments and didn't complain about it. He had the courage to challenge the conventional wisdom and the confidence to admit it when he was wrong. We had some fantastic collaborations and some epic fights, but we always had fun. Bob was serious and committed, but knew how to keep things in perspective. The great crisis of the moment would pass, but the friends endured.

What a pleasure to have shared so many years with Bob at the brewery.

He was very dedicated to his work, but loved to share so much about his children. I admired Bob on his ability to keep things priortized which meant family first and work second. Bob will always be in our hearts and memories.

Bob was the most courageous man that I have ever known. Courageous in addressing his issues as well as those that he encountered while driving a company turnaround. He was a friend, a confidant and an inspiration in how to deal with the problems that life and work throw at us. He loved as only a man who is in love with life can love. We shared many hours of talking of family and yes even commiserating, both at work and at Subway. Sue, Kevin and Michelle he will be missed and loved by us all, my condolences.

Sue Kevin and Michelle: I had the pleasure to work with Bob at my very first real job at the Brewery.  Over the 16+ years we worked together, he taught me about true class and simple style, putting his best into everything he did. Softball games, home projects, or even work projects always got the same treatment, Bob's best.  His love of family was obvious early on, from his stories of his mother and father, sisters and younger brother,  it was obvious Bob cared for them all.  His dignity and sense of humor still showed his class under the harassment he got from the other engineers, especially when he was so quiet about dating that sweet girl down the hall in MIS.  I remember the wedding, the birth of the children, and his love of Sue and the kids.

For some reason Bob came to mind a day before his passing, and over the past weekend, I ran into one thing several times that reminded me of our time working together: drafting tools, and they brought a smile remembering Bob.

I know the house in Glendora has a lot of Bob's heart and soul in it, and I hope it serves as a constant reminder of the good times that you had as a family.  My heart is with you all in this difficult time.

You already know how much I admire Bob.  Some people have the ability to motivate by being a friend first and a boss second.  Bob was that someone.  I always admired his calm analytical nature.  I feel I have lost a close friend.  I can't begin to imagine what loss you are feeling.  My deepest condolences.

I have known Bob for over 30 years and I can say he was just a genuinely nice person, very down to earth. Although he fought a long battle he never lost his sense of humor. Sue, it is a rare treat in life to have the opportunity to have known someone like Bob.  Over the years, the two of us have often sat down together to compare notes abut our kids, spending hours talking about baseball and softball, and those troublesome teen years. I often felt that your family was an extension of my family.

Bob was a colleague and friend.  We were Plant Asset Care Engineers, experienced in our own settings, but trained by our new parent company.  That experience required much patience, perseverance and levity.  Bob always shared in the levity and taught me to look at the positives and how to be flexible.  He was a good man, and will be missed by many.  My condolences to his family.

While working with Bob over the years I found it a  pleasure to collaborate with him. I was inspired by his positive outlook as he was always composed and complimentary.  Warm memories of Bob will remain with me. My deepest sympathy goes out to Sue and his family.

Bob was a wonderful brother in law to Debbie and me, as well as a special uncle to Emily, Bryan, and Matthew. We are very grateful to have had him in our lives. The Marshall Family, including Mom and Dad, was always very happy that Sue and Bob found each other. We miss you Bob and thank you being so good to us.

Working in utilities Bob was one of my first supervisors. We remained friends through the ups and downs of working together. My condolences to Sue, Kevin and Michelle.

Bob was my friend and mentor.  A true professional in business and life.  Never afraid to ask the tough questions; a master of cutting to the chase; and unlimited perseverance. It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Bob.  I worked with him for more than twenty years and always found him to be one of the most honorable and caring men I have ever known.  He never complained, always looked on the bright side, and was a cheerleader for those around him.
