Roger Leon Evans

February 2, 1938 - June 13, 2021 Roger Leon Evans, age 83, was born in Lynwood, California on February 2, 1938 and passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on June 13, 2021. Roger graduated from Baldwin Park High School in 1956. He attended West Coast Bible College and was active in youth ministries. He met the love of his life, Linda at Baldwin Park Church of God where her father was Pastor, and they were married in 1963. Roger spent his career in the construction industry and eventually founded his own construction company Tri-Valley Contractors. After retiring, Roger managed the West Covina Farmers Market every Saturday for over 10 years. He enjoyed making memories with his grandkids, having spirited political debates, playing golf, and cheering for the USC football team and the Lakers. Roger was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He spent his life working hard and taking care of his wife, kids, and grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Evans, his daughter Tammy Mauriz and husband Luciano, his son Roger Evans Jr. and wife Cham; and grandchildren, Skyler Mauriz, Emma Mauriz, Zechariah Evans and Brooke Evans. He will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts. The funeral service will be at Oakdale Memorial Park Chapel at 4pm Thursday, July 22, 2021.
