

He was born on 9/8/1946 in a small town called Ojocaliente, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, to Nicolas and Encarnacion Valenzuela. He was less than a year old when he was brought to the US and was raised in Los Angeles, California. He had 2 brothers and 8 sisters.
Proud veteran, served honorably in the United States Army. He was stationed in Frankfort, Germany. Salvador enjoyed sharing his stories about his adventures and the friends he met that became family. He received the National Defense Service Medal and was discharged on February 14, 1972.
Salvador married the love of his life, Enriqueta, in Aguascalientes Mexico. Together they built a life of devotion, standing by one another through the years with loyalty and love. Together they had three children, Salvador, Linda, and Robert. They gained a beloved daughter-in-law, Luz. He also became a grandfather to Marilyn, Alex, Merissa, Robert, and Michael. Later, he became grandpa to Ryan, Elena, Chloe, and Josue, spouses and significant others of his grandchildren. He deeply loved being a grandpa, and his grandkids loved him back dearly. They loved sitting around the table with him just to listen to his stories. They loved his silly nature and his fun and loving personality.
Salvador was very hardworking and determined. Between himself and his partners David and Les, their company evolved into a major structural steel fabricator and steel erector operating across Southern California.
Salvador’s hobbies included Fishing, Camping, Skiing, and traveling. He enjoyed taking his nephews skiing and fishing in oxnard and Mammoth Mountain. He traveled all over Europe with Enriqueta. Some countries they visited included Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Israel, and the Vatican City. He was also a devoted Catholic. He enjoyed going to church every Sunday and donated to many causes.
After retiring, Salvador enjoyed spending time at his second home in El Sauz, Aguascalientes, Mexico. He loved the beautiful culture and enjoyed visiting new areas in Mexico. He also owned a beautiful little resort, Cabanas Don Chava, where he enjoyed walking around and thinking about what else to add to the resort
.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Enriqueta, his three children who adored him deeply, and his five grandchildren who loved him so much. He had a wide circle of family and friends who were blessed by his love, humor, loyalty, protection, and kindness. He had a way to brighten up a room just with his smile and laughter.
He will be deeply missed. His memories he leaves behind will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
