Memories, I'll always have. Dotta and I were the same age. we had the same birthday, same year. I would always tease her that I was born in the mornin,  she was born in the evening. so I was older, so she would have to respect me. We would just laugh. We were very similar in liking a lot of same things. Everyone Dotta knew, she loved them, and they loved her. What a sharp dresser. Her feet would be killing her, but she liked her shoes. LOl I had the privilege of being in her family. Her daughter Susan is married to my nephew, Raymond. What a blessing it has been to know her. While Dotta was here on earth, she had a lot of SICKNESSES, but thanks be to GOD, that Dotta will put on an incorruptible body. No more sickness, No more pain. Dotta's prayers will not be void, and her tears will not be forgotten. GOD will always remember. I loved her as a sister. It's hard to lose a loved one, but we have to remember, she is in the presence of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. If we stop and think for a moment its us who remain here that suffer, but she has already seen the GLORY of the LORD. She's rejoicing. Missed, she will always be. I LOVE YOU DOTTA. Rachel. ❤️

 ❤️ Dotta, I can’t begin to express how heartbroken I feel. I never thought in a million year’s you would leave the world 🌎 this way! I’m so grateful to have been able to call you my Mother in Law, it’s truly a blessing to have married your son who is such a loving husband and father. Dotta we had a unique relationship as you know it had highs and low’s, at times we hit bumps along the road but that’s ok because we knew LOVE ❤️ and family were always more important. Dotta all I know is I’m gonna miss hearing your voice on a saturday morning from the kitchen as I make my cup of coffee while you and Kiki chop it up, talking about how your feeling and what you’ve been up too 😃 I know you’re in heaven looking down asking us to be strong but it’s hard. I pray time will help me find that inner peace. Dotta you always made your grandkids Hanna Marie and Johnny Xavier feel so special. I will miss the “Hey Now”  the laughter, the big sneaky smiles after a good shopping spree. I think Soccoros was a wonderful women. Who Loved the elderly dearly. She Loved people and had a heart like God. She was a faithful servant. Loved her husband and children. And all new family members that were added to her family. She never knew a stranger. All were welcomed to her home.

Dear Sister Jesusita and all family members.  My deepest condolences on the loss of your sibling.  I did not know Socorro personally but I felt as if I knew her well when Jesusita would share what a giving and kind person she was and how she always found a listening ear to listen to her sister Jesusita noi matter how busy she was.  Jesusita said she always remembered everyone's birthday, which included her siblings and nieces and nephews.  May our Lord Jesus Christ give you supernatural comfort during this very difficult time on the loss of a kind and beautiful sibling Socorro.

You were gone too soon. It seem like you were here with us yesterday.  We didn’t even get a chance to say our goodbyes and tell you how much we loved you. I will always remember you as Susan’s fun loving mom. Wished we could of shared many more fond memories together. I’m sorry I took so long to get at you! Honestly I just couldn’t. I needed time. I can’t even begin to find the words to express how I’m feeling, let alone come to accept you not being here with me anymore. I keep psyching myself out thinking I will call you up and you will say “Hi” monkey 🐒 I miss you soo much already mom! This feels like a nightmare and I’m gonna wake up with everything going back to normal with you back at home. with pops and the family. The saddest part for me is I did not get a chance to say goodbye  to you mom! or talk to you one last time. This all happened so quick I wish I could have been with you in the hospital to hold your hand, kiss you on the forehead or simply keep you company. MOM only GOD knows why this was your time? I find myself asking “why” my MOM? I know you aren’t hurting anymore and you did not suffer because you always had your family by your side. You are so special, such a giving person willing to drop everything to help someone in need. You loved your grandkids and great grandkids to the fullest! spoiling them like crazy. You even spoiled the big kids with birthday cake and party hats if we let you LOL. MOM we shared so many good memories, I can go on and on. It's been a little hard for me to write i just can't really face that ur really gone.. I still feel like it's not true n you'll be calling me soon.. You would always tell me not to worry n that ur ok n that i was a little Chihuahua a nervous wreck i just cared so much about u and i never wanted this day to happen were ur gone u been the best auntie i ever had n im glad i got to tell u that.. I know how bad u wanted to hold my son and i wish u would of the days u would stop by with my mom but u were to scared because of covid but I'm going to make sure that we will cherish the things you gave my son and I'll always share  memories about you and how much you loved him.. I just couldn't thank you enough Auntie for always being by my mom's side you love my mom and she loved you, you made my mom's days filled with joy but I know you're going to be right by her side no matter what.. you're going to be Miss auntie May you rest in paradise until we meet again. Nineteen years of living across the street from the amazing family that Joe and Dotta created.  We started out just being the people from across the street but we eventually became family.  Dotta always thought about everyone, not just her own family.  We were always invited to come over for birthday's, BBQ's, and parties.  If we didn't come over, she would always send Kayla and Nevaeh to our door with food and cake.  She just never forgot about anyone or maybe she just wanted to make sure no one was ever left out!  She always remembered our children's birthdays and would always give them gifts on their birthday's and on Christmas.  Dotta seemed to always be thinking of others.  My son, Ruben, loved her Pozole and sure enough she always sent over a pot with all the trimmings.   Wow! His own grandma doesn't do that for him.  HAHAHA! But yes, that's what an awesome and loving woman she was.  I enjoyed so many conversations with her,  standing outside and sometimes in the middle of the street still in my pajamas....but who cared, I know she didn't judge me.  I just loved chatting with her. No matter what we were talking about, serious or not, I would always end up walking back home laughing.  Maybe it was that laugh she had or the funny, crazy stuff that we would laugh about, all I knew is my spirit was lifted each time I talked to her.   If we were to describe Dotta in one word, it would be wholehearted.  She had a smile, laugh, and personality that would lift up any room she entered.  Her love and heart had no bounds and could be felt by anyone that was fortunate enough to meet her. Though this life on earth was too short,  her soul, heart, and love will continue to live on in her family and in ours.  We see her everlasting beauty each time we look across the street or talk to Joe, or any of the other loving family members.  Our memories of Dotta will never fade. Every time I sit and look across the street, I will continue to see her beautiful spirit shine. 

I wish that I could share fond memories of my aunt like everyone in the family has mentioned  because I have heard how she was a selfless woman. She was always willing to do anything for a loved one and would go out of her way to help anyone in need.I grew up away from my family and missed out on all the glorious stories and moments loved ones have recalled to me.I am sad that I did not get the chance to embark on moments like those with Dotta.I do know she was loved by many and had a beautiful heart and soul.She will always be remembered, loved and adored for who she was.All the love she gave to her family will be shared forever in everyone connected to her.This is a time to celebrate her life through remembering the moments that created laughter and happiness. Celebrate her uniqueness and charisma. All that she was will still be if we continue to remember and celebrate everything that made her the one of a kind woman that she was. I know that she is looking down at everyone from heaven as a guardian angel protecting her family.She now stands next to God and he is blessed to have a wonderful woman like her in heaven by his side. I still can’t believe you are gone. I never imagined you leaving so soon. It hurts me to know I can never see you again or text you to ask how you’re feeling. I always enjoyed receiving your messages and seeing the pictures/selfie’s you sent me. Back in 2018, you took me to go get my nails done as an early birthday present and it was the first time I had ever got them done and I was so thrilled to be able to enjoy that moment with you. You even took me to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time. I always loved going shopping with you especially when we would go to Nordstrom and check out the heels. It pains me to know you won’t be here to see me graduate or even see me get braces for the first time. But, we have so many happy memories together and I’m thankful for the years I was able to spend with you. ❤️ You are now up in Heaven with Ewok watching over me and our entire family. I know with every milestone I conquer you will be there right next to me! I’m going to continue to work hard in school and make you proud. I love you so much grandma-! till we meet again-! ❤️

Surely, this pain runs so deep for good reason – the world just felt that much better with you in it. You were a phenomenal woman and embodied empathy, generosity, and a whole lot of heart. The lasting impact you will continue to have on many is a true testament to who you were exactly. You radiated goodness and your whole essence was genuine love. 
 
Growing up, you were the reason for some of the best summers and holidays. You were naturally the "cool" and "fun" Tia. As I aged, it became much more apparent to me truly how natural this was.Although, no surprise to me at all, I remember trying to piece together how you managed to effortlessly keep up with it all after seeing you on Tik Tok, haha. You had the flyest threads, the wittiest inside-jokes, the best music recommendations, and – as the life of the party, you will go unmatched at throwing a bomb party.  

Forever indebted to you, I tried my very best to pay it back as an adult. Like many, I just wish I had more time. It pains me to know we didn't get to have our time in Maryland, but I know that you will continue to cheer me on along the way. I had so many other places to show you, stories to tell you, texts to send you, pictures to take with you, jokes to crack, missions to bust, and hugs to give you. Even so, you left me with the gift of perspective. You had the blueprint and showed me how I ought to live life – fully! Nothing says we will be in the same moment, with the same people, forever. So, surround yourself with a whole lot of love and be sure to feel and look good doing it, "come on now!" 

You know, the relationship we shared was unique to us, but your love was endless and ran deep for many. You were a pillar to so many others and we were all fortunate enough to have had graced this earth alongside you.

I remember every morning you would be right there in the kitchen, and I would be doing school on the computer, You made staying home from school so much better. I’m glad I stood home with you. You would make your coffee and make breakfast for me even when I didn’t  ask for it you made sure I ate. I can go on and on about you grams. So many amazing memories. You were Always here for me, you made everyday so joyful and full of laughter. When I was sad you made me laugh and I’m going to miss that so much. Dotta was my best friend before, my sister in-law. We did a lot of things together. She had a good heart, and was a fun person to be with. That’s way I  interlude her to my brother Joey and ever since they were together till now. I have so many good memories of her. She’ll be missed I love you my lovely sister. MaryAnn ❤️💋

How do you say good bye to such a beautiful person?  Her beauty went beyond her outward appearance, it was her inner beauty that was most captivating,  she had compassion and love for everyone. Dotta was much more than a friend, she became a sister in Christ to me. Every Sunday when she arrived at church, she greeted you with a hug, a kiss and a beautiful smile. I had the privilege, to see her grow in her faith. She would sit right next to me in service, and at times, we would walk up together for prayer. She truly loved the Lord and it showed in her Christ like love for people. There was nothing she would hold back from you, whether it was a kind word, comfort, advised, friendship, she gave 100 percent of who she was, and she truly had a heart of gold. She was notorious for taking group pictures of every event and everyone, you could call her the church photographer. It all makes since now, she was truly documenting her life and those who mattered to her. We, I, will truly miss my beautiful sister in Christ but I know when she took her last breath here on earth, she was in the present of our Abba Farther!

I’m so grateful for everything you did for me. You received me as your own...and I’m going to miss you calling me “Son”. You’ve touched the lives of so many people. Your vibrancy and energy can never be forgotten. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always admired your beautiful well kept grace and style. You were the aunt who always had her lashes done, nails done, hair looking amazing. I wish I would have told you how much I admired you. You are such a loving person and you exude  confidence. I remember being a little girl coming over to your house with my mom and dad, we would stay days at a time. Your house holds so many cherished memories.  You would all be drinking your Coronas and eating Menudo. Dotta you were such an amazing person and you had the most contagious laugh. You’ve raised such beautiful children and grandchildren and I know you’ll be watching over them. I always was amazed by how much you loved everyone, how generous you were. And how caring one person could be to so many people.  I always appreciated when you showed up to lay my Tata to rest. It’s something I’ll never forget and I wish I could have told you how much it meant to me. You’re forever the cool aunt with the most perfect hair. I am sure you’re hanging out with Jesus wearing the coolest clothes and with the best lashes. You fought one hell of a fight.  You’ll be missed dearly. 🖤

i dont have any words... it hurts me to see that you arent laying in your bed watching your stories or being around the house in general. im going to miss you always taking pictures with everyone. thankyou for always being there for me, taking care of me and loving me. grandma, one thing i loved about you is that you never pressured me about my future. no matter what i was going to do with my life, you loved me and for that i love you. you lived your life to the fullest and thats something i will forever admired you about. i keep thinking and theres so many things i loved about you. i wish we all could’ve spent more time with you. im going to miss you, but i know you are up there with God watching over us. i will forever love you grandma ❤️

My Dearest Sister,
This is probably the hardest time in my life to lose someone so special like you. I’m going to miss our phone calls, your loving nature, how you would always make me laugh. You’ve always known how to make me feel good. I keep listening to your voicemails just to hear your voice one last time. I wish I had more time with you, but I’ll forever cherish the memories we had together. There will never be a say where your laugh, your voice, and you don’t cross my mind.  Heaven gained another Angel to look over the family.
