Stella Montgomery, 83, of Covina, California went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family: Great granddaughter Taylor, granddaughter Stephanie, son Rory and daughter-in-law Misty. Her passing was of natural causes related to Alzheimer’s.
Stella was born on January 17, 1934 in Russell Springs Kentucky. She was one of nine children born to Ruben Wooten and Violet Cecil Wooten.
Stella is survived by her son, Rory Montgomery and daughter Nancy Montgomery as well as eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
All services will be held at Oakdale Memorial Park. There will be a viewing in the Sunset Chapel from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM on Monday, June 19, 2017. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in the Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gary Williams officiating. A Graveside service will be immediately following.
