Terry was born on March 2, 1927 in Green River, Wyoming. She lived a good life working as waitress and cook. She made her way from Wyoming to California, where she met Ralph Seeley in Long Beach. They were married on July 23, 1957. They raised 3 children in Baldwin Park. Terry worked at the Steerburger from 1972 until she retired in 1996, making many good friends and lots of memories.
Terry was very involved in her children’s lives, including their PTA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, little league baseball and the school band and drill teams. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, playing scrabble and crocheting. Terry was a devoted Christian, getting baptized in 2016. If you really wanted to see Terry happy, play some big band music or Engelbert Humperdink and let her dance. The one thing that always made Terry smile was when she was talking about her family.
Terry is preceded in death by her parents Grover & Nettie Hartley, her sister Garnet Makinson and her brothers Virgil, Francis and Frank Hartley. She is survived by her children Tami Cortese, Ronnie Seeley and Pattie Mazzolini along with her 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
