Timothy Alfred Boyle

Tim’s formative years were spend in Azusa where he attended school and matured into a strapping 6’ 3” adult. In 1971 he enlisted in the US Navy Reserves and subsequently in 1977 transferred into the Regular Navy, beginning a 22 year career as an Electronics Technician. He retired November 1, 2001 at the Rate

of Senior Chief Petty Officer. His tenure was highlighted by stellar performance reviews and the award of two Navy Commendation Medals and one Navy Achievement Medal.

Tim was an extremely intelligent and informed person who held strong views and did not suffer fools lightly. At the same time he was a kind and loving soul, a sentimental traditionalist who hewed to norms and mores of earlier times. He valued family and longed for a domestic life with children; sadly he was denied the opportunity. Tim’s passing will not make a large ripple in the fabric of the universe, but will have a profound impact on those who knew and loved him. Rest in your long-desired peace, Tim and if
