Velma Herrera (Nana) was born on April 13th, 1947, and ascended to heaven on November 25th, 2025, she was 78 years old. A high school teacher and counselor in Pomona, she was admired by her students and peers. Velma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 48 years John, 2 sons, her 5 grandchildren, her brother and sister, Gilbert and Vera Sandoval.
