It has been a long and lonely four years. A lot had changed and a lot has not. My love for Vilma certainly has not. Loneliness is such a miserable journey. I was stuned when the Doctor explained to Vilma that she was going to die. Even more so when Vilma’s first response was. “Who is going take care of Larry”. Only after her passing did I truly understand her concern. Hundreds of time I have wished the Lord had taken me to my destination first. But at the sametime, I would not wish this emptiness on Vilma or anyone else. I will always cherish the time we had together on this earth. I love you Vilma, I always will.

Happy Mother’s Day!

It’s taken me 2 years to muster the nerve to accept your passing.  Even now, I’m fighting myself as I do daily.  And though I talk and visit you frequently, its not enough....it’ll never be enough!!
My Souls DNA has changed.  Whether for better or worse,..That I do not know mom.  What I do know are the moments of heartbreak you experienced in this life that lingers in my head like a vinyl and movie from the 20’s....Distorted in color, sound and with broken images.  The soundtrack to your story; a story I was blessed to be a part of.  
Mom, I understand the love of a mother to a son is priceless.  However; the love I know to be true from a son to a mother is endless.  I love you and miss you so much mom. I would NOT change anything our loving GOD presented me with, a beautiful mother who did her very best considering the circumstances.  
I am more grateful today than ever.  To know I was cut from the tapestry of your love, hopefulness and strength.  I am eternally grateful and honored to have shared a part of your world.  Thank you from the depths of my soul momma!  I miss you feverishly.  I LOVE YOU unconditionally and Passionately!  You will forever be in my heart and in my verses.

A simple Yellow Rose 

GOD and life are beautiful but they can also be that mean kid with the magnifying glass burning ants. 

Reality can sometimes be a kick in the ...
It can be for the good or bad but we all experience it.

GOD shows his grace in many ways.
Sadly for us he took you way too soon as he has done so again with Tio Danny but I can see why.
It is his way of showing us the Good inside of us and make us understand and realize what we all mean to each other.

When everything is good we don’t care about each other. When things are bad we mean the world to one another.
Sometimes we are on the fence but most times we are a distant past.
That all went away when you went to join our Heavenly Father.
We are sad but we are Happy with what you all have left us.

It is hard to believe that this the second wedding anniversary that I am spending without you.  But each day, reality makes me painfully aware that you are not here to hold in my arms. Not here to jokingly call me your "bad boy" with that wonderful smile on your face. 

As I am sure you are, I am so proud of the wonderful memorial that your children have arranged. An eternal monument that emphases the  very special woman that you are.

The weather is dark and gloomy
The thoughts float and hang in the air

My mother was an amazing woman. She was Strong, Independent and  Loving. All the characteristics a women needs. I couldn't ask for more. The Lord truly gave me the best mom anyone could ever have.  I know she's in heaven watching over me. May she rest in peace and may the Lord give her the wings she deserves. I love you Mom

My Grandmother and I had a powerful connection. She LOVED me so much even before I was born.  She wanted a grandson and  I was her first Boy. I remember her telling me  how handsome I was and that I got her good looks. And she was right.
 I'm glad I got to spend time with you  grandma and I will miss you alot. I love you always and now you can rest in peace. 

Spending time with you grandma was the best thing I could ever ask for. You made me laugh, smile and cheer for our Dodgers and watch movies in our room. You slept in my  bed next to me and kept me company.  It was fun being around you. 
I loved to record videos of you because I always wanted to see them so I can remember you.  I miss you grandma. I love you forever 

You always kept your promises…never ever broke them.You promised that you will be always be there for me.So I trust that you are watching me from somewhere above, and you will guide me whenever I am lost. You taught me and my brothers and sister everything I can remember, you gave me a meaningful life and I understand why Everything you did was because you loved us .Now, that you are gone, I will live with your ideals and never let you down.im going to miss your presence and just your beautiful smile that made me so happy when I was down and sad or going through.I love you so much Grandma and i know your up there watching over me FOREVER AND ALWAYS. -your grandson Joseph 


A son-in-laws relationship with his mother-in-law isn't always a good one. But the relationship I shared with my mother-in-law was very special as she was one of a kind. A strong woman who knew what time it was and was always willing to have fun, if you where ready, because she was always ready! I will miss you Vilma. Until our heavenly father unites us in HEAVEN.

I remember the first time we met at your celebration of your marriage to my brother Larry. You were so beautiful and my brother loved you very much. Rest in peace my sweet sister in law. Love Linda.

Mrs. Vilma G. Welsh is survived by her loving husband Laurence, her 4 children Flor, Elizabeth, Carolina and George. She was blessed with a beautiful daughter in-law Penny and 3 loving son in-laws Daniel, Mike and Ruben who gave her the most cherished gift of being a grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild who will cherish all their memories.After marriage to Laurence she gained 3 sons Dustin, Robert and Christopher who she cherished.
