Virginia was best described as Happy, Helpful, Hopeful, Humble, and Faithful. As the eldest of nine children, her nurturing spirit began early as she helped care for her siblings. Her unconditional love and support for her daughter were priceless, and helping raise her grandsons—her ultimate joy and precious jewels, Jacob and Jason—put a smile on her face every single day. She also willingly and lovingly cared for her son-in-law, doing whatever it took to keep her family unified in times of need.
Anyone who stepped into Virginia’s life experienced her encouraging hope and steadfast faith. Through her daily example, my mom showed me how to love, forgive, pray, and walk with the Lord. These traits remain the pillars of my life.
