Dear Carol and Family we were so sad to hear of Bill's passing . Our hearts are filled with the many memories from Clyston Rd. Terry certainly thanks you Carol for teaching his young wife how to pmake linguini and clams and fettuccini alfredo.I thank you for your ever present  friendship and advice. Erin thanks Bruno for all those rides on his back ( she think he was a horse! ) We thank Billy for mowing the lawn an his quiet demeanor. And Nancy for all those time you just held and loved my newborn Josh. And dear Pauli who stayed with me when he was sick and needed to know all the details of the Iran controversy. Bill- who I called when Terry was out of town - which was often- who scurried around my house and down the street with a huge garbage bag trying to catch the mouse- the mouse outran him. Most of all, I Thank you for your graciousness, for sharing meals with Danny and Mavis along with the rest of immediate family. And thank you for for the example of our Catholic faith. Dearest Carol and family. Terry and I are so sad to hear about Bill's passing.. We have such wonderful  memories of our times together- You teaching me how to cook, Billy mowing the lawn, Nancy loving our sweet Josh and Paulie staying with me when he was sick from school. And then there was dear Bill chasing the mouse out of my house out with a garbage bag!  And how about Erin riding Bruno. And all those delicious meals at your house.

    Bill Burke was the consummate GENTLEMAN; strong, wise    and focused on concern for others. Love of FAMILY, COUNTRY and FAITH were essential tenets in the BIG GUY'S life .  AS a friend, citizen or parishioner those of us who knew him in any of those roles mourn his passing and offer our prayers, love and support to Carol and family.

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Bill Burke's passing.  Our deepest sympathies to Carol Burke and her children and grandchildren. Words are not enough.  May he rest in God's peace and mercy.

Mr. Burke was a great influence to me. His honesty and passion for life inspired me to be a better person. He will live in my memories forever. His strength of being a great family man and a caring individual is a light which will shine forever with everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Bill and I have been friends and ushered together at St. Dorothy Church for over 26 years. It was always a pleasure serving with him. He was generous and had a great sense of humor. I will miss him dearly.

Our deepest heartfelt condolences for Poppa Burke's passing. Our love and our continued prayers for strength, peace and comfort to the family. We will hold on to the many Happy Memories we have shared, this is what keeps him alive in our hearts and in our minds. Poppa will NEVER be forgotten.
