Amber Dawn Marchand, age 35 passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Spokane, Washington . Amber was born Sunday February 28th, 1988 in Grand Coulee, WA to Frank "Barney" Marchand and Gaileen Kay Simpson.
A member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville and the Catholic Church, Amber had worked at the Tribal Casino.
Constantly on the move to wherever her feet and cruising vehicle may lead, Amber also enjoyed beading and just relaxing at the lake. Her greatest love in life though was always her three children.
Amber is survived by her sons: Zacheriah Elwell, Elijah Elwell and Quincy Marchand; father: Frank "Barney" Marchand; brothers: Kelly Marchand and Jesse Marchand; sister: Leslie Stearns as well as numerous Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.
Amber was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother: Gaileen Kay Simpson.
A dressing & viewing for Amber will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Strate Funeral Home, Grand Coulee, Washington 99133. A community rosary & wake will occur Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Nespelem Long House, Nespelem, WA. A funeral service will also occur Friday, May 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Nespelem Long House, Nespelem, WA. Her graveside service will occur Saturday, May 12, 2023 at Owhi Cemetery, Nespelem, WA.
