Dorothy Lee “Dottie” Park (83) Passed away during the early morning hours of Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Omak, Washington. Dorothy was born on Sunday, November 27, 1938 in McNary County, Tennessee to John and Graple Lou Mae Grantham-Albin. Dottie married Dale A Park Sr. and for a number of years they toured together with a traveling western show, featuring Dottie – a champion archer, amazing the audiences with her prowess with bow and arrow. Then for seventeen years, Dale and Dottie owned operated the “Cherry Creek Barrel Saloon” in the tourist stop/ghost town of Cherry Creek, Nevada prior to moving to the Grand Coulee, Washington area. A longtime member of the Grand Coulee Eagles, Dottie enjoyed reading Louie Lamour, doing word search and crossword puzzles, knitting, crocheting, handcrafting plastic covers for tissue boxes among other items and for the last four years - going on outings with her fellow residents from “Apple Springs Senior Living.” Predeceased by her husband of twenty-nine years: Dale A. Park Sr., son: Dwayne Eddie Brannon Jr. and both parents; Dorothy’s legacy lives on through her sons: Dale A. Park Jr. and Douglas “Larry” Park Sr. (Sara Shanning); grandchildren: Cynthia Park (Austin Hicks), Douglas L. Park Jr. (Kylie), Anthony Park (Madi), Chris Brannon, Steven Pelonis, Michael Park, Alex Park, Charles Shanning and China Shanning; numerous great-grandchildren and her brother: Johnny Edward. Dottie’s family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the wonderful staff of Apple Springs Senior Living, for their loving care of Dottie.
