Maya Angelou once said “It’s like god gave me a little piece of heaven on earth with my mom” this quote reminds us that a mother, though she might be physically gone, is always with us.
We chose not to lose Lucy but instead gain an angel. She’s in our minds our hearts and our lives and she will always be wise, compassionate and stubborn as ever. Lucy had a way of always making you feel like you were family. It did not matter at all who you were.
Proverbs 31:26. “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teachings of kindness is on her tongue” This is a great verse to honor our mom and grandmother and the impact she’s left on our lives.
