I always enjoyed Aunt Muriel's visits because she was interesting and shared a wealth of knowledge each time. She shared details about our family history that I would never have known. She was a very special person.

My memories of Aunt Muriel are of trips coming to West Plains to visit my grandparents as well as the rest of the family. She was a wealth of knowledge. I enjoyed hearing family stories and where her career had taken. She will be missed!💕

I had the pleasure of teaching with Muriel at Jason Lee Elementary School in Richland from 1978 till she retired. She was a kind, thoughtful, and caring person who loved the kids.
We took our fifth grade students up to Camp Wooten for a week long Outdoor Education Program and she wanted to be involved in that. She was awesome at camp and had a great time. It was great for the students to see her in a different point of view from being the school counselor.
She will be missed.
