So sorry for your loss.  Stuart was a very  kind and gentle  soul.

Stuart was a wonderful friend over so many years.  He always had a smile and he was always there for us.  We have so many memories going back to our little league coaching along with Les and the fun we had at so many financial closings...he had so much fun because we always brought our parrot.  We had many great times together from Plymouth Rd in Great Neck all the way to Bridge Hampton and Florida. He will be greatly missed.  With love, Joanne and Howard Samborn

Norma and Stuart introduced Michael and me to the Wycliffe community in Florida 14 years ago. They even found the house we still live in.  We enjoyed all those years with a loving, caring and fun filled times. We are grateful for that friendship and feel the loss as we have just returned to our residence here.‘Michael and I wish all the Gastwirth clan peace and fond memories to look back on. Dear Gastwirth Family,
We’ve own Stuart since 1994 when he was recommended by friends of ours in Great Neck.  He worked for us in Business and Personally.  I liked him the moment we met.  He was a thoughtful and caring person.  I talked to him often over these years and " I enjoyed bumping into him when he lived in Great Neck and in his house on Shelter Rock Rd .  After he decided not to be a trustee on many of our accounts I worked with him to complete the forms.  I know  he will be sorely missed.

My brother-in-law, Stuart, had been a part of my life since we met at summer camp (where he met Norma)  so many years ago. The early days were fun — after all, we were teenagers just starting out our life journey. We stuck together and in 2008, Kaz became part of our family and so the four of us continued the journey. 

We couldn't have asked for a better friend and family member than Stuart. There were many opportunities for getting together and we took advantage of all that were possible for us, since our lives were centered on different U.S. coasts. Our Florida visit to him in July of 2024, was our last face-to-face opportunity to reestablish our love and eternal friendship. 

After he moved to Las Vegas, we often kept in touch via telephone and spoke to him only days before he passed.

Stuart was a kind, gentle man who always tried to steer his family towards the type of life that would give each of them the most they sought. His generosity of spirit and time was a strength to those who knew him.

Kaz and I deeply mourn his passing and are further saddened because we can't be there this Sunday when he will be eulogized and remembered for the wonderful man he was.

I’ve known Stuart from age 7 when he was my camp counselor. Over the years we became very close. He was instrumental supporting me in my various conflicts with my parents. He allowed me to drive his beloved Olds 88 shortly after I got my license. Truly an act of faith! I loved Stuart and he loved me. His passing has rendered me very sad but I take great joy having known him throughout the years, watching him raise a wonderful family and caring for my sister. I will always remember him and miss his presence in my life.

I have been thinking of all the wonderful memories I have with Stuart and Norma  in the 53 years of friendship. Trips to Disney with our families and the trip to Cancun but most of all the times we spent after visiting our children in camp. I always felt I had a special connection with Stuart because we liked the same food and our lack of competition when it came to game playing. We both liked shopping which Les didn’t. After Les passed Stuart was always there for me to talk to. I will miss him and our special friendship which was filled with love

Wow! What a great man.  I had the privilege and a pleasure of taking care of  a man with such a humble heart, also a beautiful soul. 
 Stuart, I see that wonderful smile. Be free of all thats faced here on earth 🌎  Stuart Gastwirth you was love by me.

Stu was a dear person whose legacy is a beautiful family, and many lifelong friends. It was a tremendous honor to be able to spend time with him these last six months. Stu, his beloved wife Norma, and the Gastwirth family,  will be forever in my heart.
