

He was born September 14, 1977.
Aaron was a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church and a 1996 graduate of West Greene High School.
He was a kindhearted companion to many and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially in the Greystone and Camp Creek Communities. He was an avid farmer who raised beagles, hogs and other animals. He enjoyed hunting and horseback riding.
He was a loving son and brother and adored his three young children: Khloe Overbay, Kiley Overbay and Aaron Jase Overbay.
In addition to his children, he is survived by their mother, Kelly Reaves, of the home; sisters and brothers-in-law: Amy and Carson Rose of Greeneville, Michelle and David Smith of Greensboro, North Carolina; special aunt: Christy Whitson of Gray; godmother: Wilma Kay Jennings of Afton; stepmother: Beverly Overbay of Mosheim; step-siblings and spouses: Susan and Jay Guinn of Mosheim and Brandon and Stephanie Sizemore of Greeneville; special cousins: Monica Shoemaker of Greeneville and Marissa Valentine and husband, Lloyd “Bundy”, of Sevierville; special friend: Doug Reaves of Greeneville; and many other family members and special friends.
He was the son of the late Gary Overbay and Susan Overbay and was preceded in death by his grandmother, Denta Kimery, and a special cousin, Matt Hogan.
The family will receive friends 1-3 and 5-7 pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7 pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw, Rev. Jerry Hopson, and Rev. Cindy Paxton officiating.
Interment will be 2 pm Sunday in Gethsemane UM Church Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1 pm Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Shelton, Benny Jennings, Randal Jennings, David Shelton, Mark Darnell, Jamie Riddle, Allen Hopson, and Leonard Ricker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
