He retired from Flowers Bakery.
Mr. Ricker was of the Baptist faith.
He was a U. S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his sons: Charles Ricker of Morristown, Dan Ivey and wife, Diane, of Ohio, Steve Ivey and wife, Cherrie, of Bean Station; daughter: Joyce Frye and husband, Bruce, of Talbott; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews who were a source of comfort in his later years including a special niece, Frances Gridley and husband, Gary, of Greeneville; and his special pet: Timmy.
He was the son of the late Charles and Josephine Ricker and was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Ricker; son, Stanley Ivey; sisters, Glenice Wilhoit, Mevolene Walters; brothers, Arville, Willis and S. R. Ricker.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Nick Bailey and Rev. Fay Lynn Ricker officiating.
Interment will be at 11 am Wednesday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
