Alline Barnes, 84, of Mosheim, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center.

She was a retired factory worker.

Mrs. Barnes was a member of Mosheim Fellowship Church.

Survivors include her husband of 72 years: Charles “Sheriff” Barnes, Jr.; a son and fiancé: Bobby Barnes and Gay Walton of Bulls Gap; two daughters and a son-in-law: Vicky and Kenneth Patterson and Tammy Lamons of Mosheim; grandchildren: Amanda and Miranda Barnes, Brent Lamons, Jacob Barnes, Travis Lamons and wife, Julia, Scottie Lamons and wife, Samantha, Kimberly Evans and husband, Michael, Leah Wilhoit and husband, Dale, Joshua Barnes, Jeremy Barnes and wife, Mandy, Raven Ramsey; several great grandchildren; a sister: Janie Cook; one sister-in-law: Rachel Baker; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers: Christy Bledsoe and Mandy Barnes.

She was the daughter of the late Bruce and Emma Holland and was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Barnes, and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Pastors Michael Mack, Mary Mack and Rev. Richard Long will officiate.

Interment will be 11 am Thursday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Mosheim. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 am Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scottie Lamons, Travis Lamons, Joshua Barnes, Jeremy Barnes, Brent Lamons and Jacob Barnes.

Honorary pallbearer is Michael Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
