Allison attended Meadow Creek Presbyterian Church in America. She worked as a dental assistant.
"I've fought the good fight; I've finished the race; I've kept the faith." These words describe the life \that Allison lived as she fought the valiant fight against Cystic Fibrosis. She was touched by many lives and she touched many lives. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her testimony of faith will live on in each of our lives.
Survivors include her parents: Bill and Sharon Holt; sister: Kristen Holt; grandmothers: Leona Gammon and Mitzi Holt; aunt: Kay Holt; special friends: Chad and Danielle Ervin; and the nursing staff and Duke transplant team and transplant families.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Boyce Gammon and William Holt.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeff Neikirk officiating.
Interment will be Wednesday morning at 10 in Meadow Creek Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Justin Sayler, Mike Ottinger, Jerry Graham, Walter Graham, Jake Ottinger, and John Ottinger.
Honorary pallbearers are her family and friends.
