Mr. Johnson was an engineer. He attended Asbury United Methodist Church.
He is survived by three sons: Kenny Johnson, Larry Johnson, and Russell (Angie) Johnson; two grandsons, Zackary Johnson and Chase Johnson; and a niece, Diane (Stan) Holcombe.
He was the son of the late Walton and Wynona Johnson and was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Joy Johnson.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, November 22 at 1:00 pm at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 pm for the service. Preacher Ronnie Rednour will officiate.
