Andres "Andy" Ayerbe, 65, of Tusculum Boulevard, died Sunday morning at his home. He was of the Roman Catholic tradition of faith. His family stated, "He was an avid golfer and a true friend to everyone." He was an employee of Plus Mark, Inc., for 31 years. "He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and friend. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Moose Lodge. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and his family," his family stated. Survivors include his wife: Martha Ayerbe; a son: Jimmy "Chico" Ayerbe; two daughters: Scarlet Kindle and Melissa Parker; three grandchildren: Daniel Kindle, Makayla Kindle, and Rachel Parker, all of Greene County; a sister: Maria and Juan Alvarez of New Jersey; three special nieces: Linda Alvarez, Wendy Cintron, and Stephanie Orguiera; three special nephews: Ramon Ayerbe, Jaime Ayerbe, and Jose Ayerbe, all of New Jersey; two special cousins: Isabel Pazos and PePe Pazos, both of New Jersey; and his special friends: Connie Tarleton, Ronnie Forby, Richard "Cotton" McCamey, Mike Anderson, Jeremy Shelton, Mike Russo, William "Bill" Dabbs, Dennis and Debbie Cornelius and "everyone else that his life has touched." The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Notre Dame Catholic Church. The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the church. Father John Appiah will officiate. Interment will follow in GraceLand Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be his fellow golfers and the members of the Moose Lodge.
