Anna Ruth Owens

Her special dream was to one day live on a little farm.

She is survived by two sons, Dalton Anthony Owens and his wife, Jaylen Owens and Terry Lynn Owens III; a daughter, Ashlyn Haven Owens; brother, Arthur Clark Hixson, Jr. and his children, Jace Hixson and Lindsey Hixson; a sister, Patricia Dale Smelcer and children, Cori Wheeler, Toby Nelson, and Shawn Smelcer; and her parents, Arthur Clark Hixson, Sr. and Stella Mae Hixson; special uncle, Lynn Hixson; cousin, Celeste Hixson; many aunts and uncles; and other nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special friend, Terry Kirkpatrick.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Clark Anthony “Tony” Hixson; her grandparents, Celestine Hixson, Sr. and Ruth Hixson; and her grandmother, Anna Hazelwood. The family will receive friends 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2:00 pm. Rev Dusty Jones will officiate. Interment will then be conducted at Brown Springs Cemetery.
