Arthur C Hixson Sr.

Arthur C. Hixson Sr., age 71, of Tennessee, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, August 8, 2026, following a lengthy illness. Born on January 1, 1955, he was the beloved son of the late Celestine and Ruth Hixson.

Arthur is survived by his devoted son, Arthur C. Hixson Jr., and his wife, Stella Mae Hixson. He leaves behind his siblings, Lynn Hixson, Celestine Hixson Jr., and Pricilla Shelton. His memory will be cherished by his five grandchildren: Lindsey Hixson, Jace Hixson, Dalton Owens and his wife Jayleen, Terry Owens III, and Ashlyn Owens. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Harrison Smith, Dillyn Owens, and Hudson Getz, along with a large circle of extended family and dear friends.

He was reunited in death with his son, Clark Anthony Hixson; his daughter, Anna Hixson; his parents, Celestine and Ruth Hixson; his brothers, David Allen Hixson and Michael Lee Hixson; and his sister, Marcella Ruth Morrison.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm on Saturday, August 15, 2026 with the service to follow at 2:00 pm in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rouey Davis officiating. The interment will follow in Brown Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Clark Hixson Jr., Dalton Owens, Terry Owens III, Ethan Getz and Lynn Hixson.
