B. Joe Arwood, 57, Chuckey Pike, Chuckey, TN, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 9, 2010 at his residence. He was a CPA with an office in Chuckey.
His family stated, “He was a loving father, grandfather, and son. He was also a generous and caring person. His grandchildren were the joy of his life. He loved spending time on the lake with them and playing golf. He had many, many friends that he was close to." Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Krystal Arwood; two grandchildren, Brenden Kaine and Parks Lee Arwood of Jacksonville, NC; three step-grandchildren, Jameason, Alyssa, and Landon Patterson of Chuckey; father and step-mother, Bobby and Barbara Arwood of Greeneville; mother and step-father: Rosa and John Lingo of Tusculum; step-brother: Randy Houston of Chuckey; step-sisters, Debbie and Bobby Ottinger of Chuckey, Sharon and Rick Johnson of Afton; niece, Samantha Arwood of Greeneville; several special cousins including,Charles “Timmy” Rudder of Anderson County, Steve and Rena Cutshall of Chuckey, Marshall Cutshall of Greeneville, and Trish Baughard of Mosheim; several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his brother Danny “Butch” Arwood
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Billy Holder officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Horse Creek Church of God Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service. Memorials may be made to Locust Springs Christian Retreat Center, 196 Bailey Lane, Greeneville, TN 37745.
