She was a loving mother and aunt. She loved her family and often visited them in Kingsport. She especially liked to hear people laugh, and she really enjoyed her candy.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Ann Oaks; a brother, Joe Alyn Curry; sister, Ruth Curry Sproles; several nieces and nephews; and special great-nephews, Matthew and Noah Sproles.
She is preceded in death by her parents Carter Marvin and Annie Laura Scruggs Curry; two brothers, Ralph Lee Curry and Aaron Hugh Curry; and two sisters, Millie Faye Curry and Mildred Frances Curry Sprinkle.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4-6pm Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
