

She is survived by the following: her husband, Tim Mitchell; a daughter, Susan Barnes; a “special grandchild”, Hayelee Barnes, whom she loved dearly and brought much enjoyment to her life; her mother, Vivian Fillers; her father, Clarence Tweed; her half-brother, Danny Fillers; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Rickey and Eileen Mitchell and Tim and Angie Smithson; many aunts and uncles, Barbara and Lonnie Livesay, Nancy and Ken Conner, Judy and Wayne Bettis, Jeannie and Jack Bettis, Martha Franklin, Ted Bettis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Daisy Bettis.
She was a member of Victory Church of God, where she was actively involved and loved her church family. She loved going to yard sales and selling antiques.
Mrs. Mitchell retired from the Greeneville Light and Power System after 35 years of service.
The family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service being held in the chapel at 8:00 pm with Rev. Jim Fillers and Rev. Charles Linton officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, November 26, at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 am Saturday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Larry Elliot, Tim Smithson, Richard Southerland, Chris Ricker, Pat Dickey, and Wayne Bettis.
Special pallbearers will be her family at Victory Church of God, her fellow employees at the Greeneville Light and Power System, and her friends at the Greeneville Antique Market.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Victory Church of God, located at 166 Sanford Circle, Greeneville, TN 37743.
