Bennie "Joe" Denton

Joe was a retired truck driver.

He loved to ride his motorcycles and rode for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Denton of the Home; Daughter, Mary Ann (Dean) Lewis of Greeneville; son, Tommy “Pnut” Denton of Limestone; step-son, Todd (Beth) Pugh of Limestone; grandsons, Randy (Jessica) Lewis of Limestone and Eric (Sylvia) Lewis of Greeneville; a granddaughter, Danyell (Terry) Scott of Chuckey; great-granddaughters, Evie Lewis and Emmy Lewis of Limestone, Addilyn Boesch of Greeneville, and Natalia Lewis of Greeneville; great-grandson, Bentlee Scott of Chuckey; brother, Ray Denton of Mt. Carmel; a very very special great nephew, Cobran Massey of Greeneville; along with numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Cling and Bonnie Denton, and four brothers.

The family will receive friends at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home at 11am-1pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

A graveside service will follow at 2pm at Fairview Cemetery in Jonesborough, Tennessee, officiated by Rev. Gary Hill.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
