Benny Jay Dean Sr.

Mr. Dean was a mechanic. He was a US Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by two sons: Lance (Janaka) Dean and James (Heather) Dean; grandchildren: Haley Dean, Amber Cutshall, Trent Dean, Alexis Dean, Brandon Dean, Brett Dean, Blake Dean, and Maryann Dean; great grandchildren: Braxton Cutshall, Oaklyn Dean, Lily Cutshall, and Whitlee Cutshall; and several nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Robert Dean.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Dean; his father, Hurbert Dean; his mother, Allie Wilkerson Dean; and a son, Benny Jay Dean, Jr.

The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Rev. Kenny Collins and Rev. Tanner Mundy will officiate.

Following the service, interment will be conducted at McMillan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Dean, Lance Dean, James Dean, Trent Dean, Ricky Dean, and Skylair Cutshall. The Greene County Honor Guard and the TN National Guard Honors Team will conduct a military graveside service.
