Betty S. Carroll, 75, of Afton, Tennessee, passed away on June 4, 2016, after a lengthy illness. Betty served in the U.S. Navy, where she met her husband, Jerry, of 55 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, woodworking, camping, and gardening.
In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her three children: Lisa Maloney (Sean) of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Gina Pardun (John) of Woodbridge, Virginia, and Doug Carroll (Shauna) of Conifer, Colorado. She also leaves behind four grandsons, one great-grandson, her sister, Jennifer Taylor of Ocklawaha, Florida, nieces, nephews, and other family members. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie M. and Betty Fillman Wendell.
