Betty Jean Price

She retired from North American Philips.

Survivors include her son: James A. Price of Greeneville; daughter: Connie Denise Price of Greeneville; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Lora Kiker of Talbott, Ellen Wells and Peggy and Ralph Shelton of Greeneville; brother and three sisters-in-law: Harold and Marilyn Sams of Massachusetts, and Mabel Sams and Imogene Sams; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Craty and Mary Kelley Sams and was preceded in death by her husband: James A. Price Sr.; and two brothers: Chester Sams and Doyle Sams.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Jim Fields will officiate.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

The staff and employees of Laughlin Health Care Center and the nurses and staff of Laughlin Memorial Hospital will serve as honorary pallbearers.
