Billy Wayne Sexton

Billy attended Community Fellowship Church and Overlook Drive Free Will Baptist Church.

He was a former employee of Greeneville Lumber Co./ McCarter Lumber Co.

Billy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Laska June Sexton; three sisters-in-law, Lee Ann Sexton, Eva White, and Darla Loveless; a special cousin, Kyle Swatzell; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra “Ray” Sexton and Mary Ruth Bottomley; three brothers, David, Jimmy, and Gary Sexton; two sisters-in-law, Peggy and Barbara Sexton; and his mother-in-law, Sylvia June Pickel.

The family will receive friends 5-7pm Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow at 7pm in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel, officiated by Rev. Gary Gass.

Interment will be 10am Friday, June 26, 2026, at Cross Anchor Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the committal service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9am to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers are family and friends.
