Birchell "Buck" Harrison

He was a loving Daddy, Papaw, Great-Papaw, and Brother. He was an over-the-road truck driver for 40 years. He was also a devoted member of the Mosheim Volunteer Fire Department for many years. From his days of dirt racing, to his passion for the weekly NASCAR competition between him and his daughter, Terri’s, favorite driver. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone he met. He had so much unconditional love for his family, always helping anyone at any time. Buck also had a passion for singing, especially hymns at church. His beautiful voice could be heard above all others.

He is survived by two daughters and two sons: Tim Harrison, Terri Harrison Price, Kimberlyn Hankins, and Michael Taylor; grandchildren: Chrystal (Thomas) Wedding, Eric (Lynette) Price, Rachel Harrison, Summer (Michael) Inman, Ashlynn Harrison, Elizabeth Price, Toney (Alexis) Strickland, Bodie (Taeylor) Price, Raelynn (Jacob) Treadway, Terra Iacino, Melody Bijolle (Jonathan Montes), Kara Aubrey, and Tiffany Godsey; a special sister, Mary Elizabeth Carter; a nephew, Sean Carter; several great grandchildren and cousins; and special friends: Mark Higgins, Journey Higgins, Mike Dunn, Terry and Mitzy Reed, Mary Cecil Davis, Brandon, and Ashytyn Mills, and many more too numerous to name.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Harrison; his parents, Birchell, Sr. and Rose Harrison; a son-in-law, Terry L. Price; a grandson, Kenny Price; and a brother-in-law, Gary Carter.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 5:00-7:00 pm at Kiser-Rose Hil Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Laughlin will officiate the funeral service on Wednesday, February 26, at 2:00 pm at Mt. Tabor Church where the body will be interred.

Pallbearers include Bodie Price, Toney Strickland, Sean Carter, Jonathan Montes, Jayden Keefer, and Chad Beach.
