He is survived by one sister, Kathleen Meisenheimer, two brothers, Ron and Andrew Austin, sister-in-law, Nancy Austin and several nieces and nephews and many friends, caregiver and special great-niece, Leslie Garretson.
He was the son of the late George and Katherine Austin, He was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
