Bobby Joe Valentine

He was a farm worker.

Survivors include his wife: Sandra Valentine; three sons: Andrew Valentine of the home, Jason Valentine and wife, Jessica, and Bobby Joe Valentine, Jr.; a daughter: Jessica Freeman and husband, Bobby; four stepchildren; five grandchildren; a brother: Billy Valentine; a sister: Betty Strange; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Eulas and Cora Valentine and was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom, Charles and James Valentine; and two sisters, Louise Gregg and Polly Carter.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at Ray’s Chapel Church in Newport with Rev. Nathan Valentine and Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1 pm Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the church for the service.

Interment will follow in Ray’s Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his family and friends.
