

Bonnie Malone Campbell, age 87, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph E. Campbell; two brothers Fred and Glen Malone, and one sister Marie Malone Lister of Greeneville. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Ralph Lister of Johnson City, and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ruth Malone and Virgie Gray of Greeneville.
Bonnie is survived by two special nieces, Brenda Lister McKinnis and her husband John of Johnson City and Gracie Lister Jones and her husband Don of Knoxville. She also had a very special relationship with her great-niece Katie McKinnis Jenkins and her husband Dr. Timothy Jenkins and children, Ella and Ethan and great-nephews Conor McKinnis of Johnson City, and Tyler Jones of Knoxville.
Bonnie was also a loving aunt to her nieces Barbara Malone Doty, of Greeneville, Agnes Malone Williamson of Fort Payne, Alabama, and Linda Malone of Johnson City and nephew Freddie Malone and wife Marlene, of Greeneville as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was a member of Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Greeneville. After moving to Johnson City she attended Central Church of Christ.
Bonnie was a member of the Baileyton Eastern Star Chapter 319. Prior to the death of her husband, Joseph Campbell, who was a member of the Kerbela Shriners in Knoxville, they were active in working with children who needed care at the Shriners Hospital for Children, Greenville, South Carolina.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Kiser Rose-Hill Funeral Home. Reverend Jamie Lively, Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and Tim Hall, Central Church of Christ, will officiate.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
