Bruce Arthur Stroud

He was retired.

Mr. Stroud was a member of People's Tabernacle Church and was an avid VOLS fan.

Survivors include an aunt: Frances Shelton; uncle: Lewis Stroud; other uncles and aunts: Davis and Jo Stroud, Howard and Linda Shipley, Bobby Joe and Brenda Shipley, Charles and Mary Kite; several cousins; special friend and roommate: "Pops; his many friends; and staff members at Laughlin Health Care Center.

He was the son of the late Clyde and Sadie Stroud and was preceded in death b y a brother, J.C. Stroud.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Billy Gregg officiating.

Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Shelton, Phil Shelton, Adam Shelton, Bobby Bible, Ralph Hensley, Tony Ottinger, Shawn Ottinger, and Andy Stroud.

Honorary pallbearers are his friends and the staff at Laughlin Health Care Center.
