Mr. Williams was a retired brick mason.
He was a member of the Elbert Kinser Detachment of the U.S. Marine Corps and of the Moose #692.
Survivors include a granddaughter and spouse: Christy and Tracy Lane of Chuckey; great granddaughters: Hailey and Hannah Painter of Chuckey; sister: Angeline Ottinger of Greeneville; brothers: Tony Williams of Greeneville and Frank Williams, Jr. of Sulphur, Louisiana; special friend: Al Hauser of Chuckey; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Judith Williams, and his son, Tim Williams.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Thursday to go in procession to the committal service.
