Carmi Emily Lopez

Carmi Emily Lopez, age 62, of Faith Court in Greeneville, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 3, 2022. She was an administrative assistant at Greeneville Adventist Academy. She was a member of Greeneville Seventh-day Adventist Church. Carmi loved music, especially singing and playing the piano, made flower and money leis, and enjoyed knitting. She also taught piano and was the church pianist at St. James Lutheran Church.

Carmi is survived by her parents, Aniceto and Sylvia Lopez; sons, Matthew Frias and Jason (Jacklyn) Frias; brother, Harold (Catherine) Lopez; sister, Anne (Les) Andrus; nieces, Lillybeth Andrus, Shauna (Matt) Fortson and Courtney Lopez (Jeremy Verstegen) and numerous relatives.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Frias.

The family will receive friends at Greeneville Seventh-day Adventist Church from 12-2pm on Tuesday with funeral service to follow with Pastor Nate Nelson and Pastor Jeremy Arnall officiating. Interment will be held after the funeral service at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Greeneville Seventh-day Academy.
