

He was a certified dental technician and a member of Meadow Creek Presbyterian Church, where he served as elder and deacon.
Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean Conflict, and a member of American Legion Post #64.
He is survived by his wife: Alice Fannon Love; a brother and sister-in-law: Harold and Janet Love of Greeneville; a sister and brother-in-law: Shirley and Clifford Broyles of Simpsonville, South Carolina; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Robert and Willie Kate Seaton, Ronnie and Nellie Metcalfe, and Phyllis Conner of Greeneville, and Alex Dobson of Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Lloyd and Ruby Starnes Love and stepmother, Annie Laura Birdwell Love, and was preceded in death by a sister, Vesta Dobson, and a sister-in-law, Shelby Jean Keicher Love.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2011 at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Jeff Neikirk and Rev. Dr. Brandon Conner officiating.
Interment will follow in Meadow Creek Cemetery.
His pallbearers will be John Rader, Johnny Powers, Darwyn Waddell, Shane Love, Kent Love, and Stephen Powers.
The men of Meadow Creek Presbyterian Church and his golfing buddies will serve as honorary pallbearers.
