Christopher Douglas Cogdill, age 40, of Greeneville, passed away at his home Monday, July 27.

His survivors include his wife: Wendy Cogdill, a son Christian Cogdill; stepsons: Justin Trivett and Eli Higgins; his mother: Carol Britt; his sister and brother-in-law: Brandy and DJ Rambo.

He leaves behind several special friends and family members.

There will be a celebration of life at Kinser Park on August 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm.

You were such a great wonderful amazing friend who was there for anybody at anytime we shared a lot of memorys Glenwood that will be cherished forever and memories of this wonderful friendship we had , Fly high buddy and I know you will be watching Go Rest high on that mountain. We starting talking April 9, and we got closer as we got to talking , he made me special he called me beautiful everyday bc he said I was and every woman is and never should b called ugly, we talked everyday I would call him mornings, on my breaks after work and at night we would FaceTime. He made me laugh and smile everyday . I will NEVER forgot the last words he told me while visiting me on Father’s Day weekend ( I live in Arkansas) he said: you are the bestest and closest friend I have ever had and he turned to me and said you are beautiful, your a good woman, a great mother and you have a big heart any man would by lucky to have you and never forgot you are worth everything. II will always cherish those moments I had with him I will always love u my best friend and never ever will I forget you!
