Mr. D. C. Rice

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years: Patsy Rice; children and spouses: Eugene and Patricia Rice, Boyd and Dorothy Moore, Bobby and Janet Cutshall; grandchildren: Nikki Rice, Dakota Rice, Mary Britt, Eva Moore, Eric Cutshall, Chris Cutshall, Richard Cutshall great grandchildren: Taylor Moore, Ethan Britt, Haley Britt, Wyatt Cox, Hunter Cutshall, Ian Cravens, Maddi Cravens, Raeleigh Thomas; two sisters: Hilda Rice, Caroline Cook and husband, Cline; and a brother: Ronnie Rice.

He was the son of the late Wesley and Nettie Lamb Rice and was preceded in death by one brother, J. C. Rice, and a sister, Shirley Chandler.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Upper Paint Creek Church with Rev. Tracy Jones and Rev. Tim Moore officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1 pm Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the church.

Interment will follow at Upper Paint Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Cutshall, Chris Cutshall, Richard Cutshall, Dakota Rice, Bobby Cutshall and Eugene Rice.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Lee Cutshall, Jimmy Dean Coffee and Terry Murdock.
